The facts:

  • Exactly 101,097,362,223,624,462,291,180,422,369,532,000,000 reachable states (54!/(9!)6). Every one of them is provably solvable.
  • The app's AI solvers find a route from any state in a second or two, on-device.
  • The Bear Method now exists. Expensive-Bear-1376 documented the first human approach and used it to cut the record from 240 to 107 moves. What remains open is independent testing, clear teaching, and the next improvement toward the AI's roughly 60.
